Emails are an important part of creating the best audience and marketer experience. In Sequel, email settings control confirmations, reminders, and post-event emails as well as replays and default access links for hosts/presenters.
The drag-and-drop email editor allows you to fully customize event-related emails using blocks, branding, buttons, variables, and HTML.
This replaces the classic email editor for the whole workspace and is available on Business plans and above.

Enable and Access the Editor
Go to the Emails tab in the Sequel dashboard.
If using for the first time, follow the transition pop-up instructions. The emails do not transfer over from "classic" to new email dashboard.
It is recommended you switch to this new builder between event promotion cycles for best experience.
Once enabled, you will see a new email dashboard with "Templates" as an additional tab on the left.
From here, you can create templates in two ways:
Click on the pencil icon from the Emails tab > Create new template *Recommended as this will allow you to choose a starting point rather than starting fresh
Navigate to "Templates" and "New Template." This will launch the builder with a blank template. Great option for adding in HTML of your email templates built elsewhere.
If you're looking to change the email settings themselves from this new view (Reply to email, address, etc.), click on "Settings"

Go to the event's Emails tab.
Click the pencil icon next to the email you want to change. This will present starting options or you can customize templates you've already built
Once saved, you'll see the new template now applied to the event and it'll be notated by "Custom Event Template" in the Template column.
Changing the Default Access Link for Hosts and Presenters
On this new email system, by default, the host and presenter access links will be to the "backstage" of your event. So, your speakers and hosts can focus on the content and engagement without being on your embedded site or landing page.
In some cases, however, your team may want to send speakers and hosts to the embed URL. To do this for a specific event,
Navigate to the "Email" tab of the event.
In the "on registration" section, click on the "Configure" icon.
From here you can toggle ON the option for custom/embed URL to be used for hosts and presenter access links. This is the link your hosts and presenters will get in their emails.
