Closed Captioning can be turned on at an event level, and is available for live sessions and On-demand replays.
Closed Captions for Live Events
Open the event within your Sequel Admin Dashboard and go to event settings.
Under the "Themes & Features" tab, scroll down to find "Closed Captions"
Toggle on to enable the "CC" option for English captions for that event and any replays enabled.
Now users can turn Closed Captioning on or off in the video player inside the Sequel embed. Currently, only English subtitles are supported (unless your plan has language pack add-on).
Closed Captions for On-demand Replays
On-demand replays will also always show English captions option. Unlike live events, customers will not have to toggle on closed captioning. Closed Captioning will be available for all recorded live sessions and media uploaded from the Media Hub and used for on-demand or replay.
