Before we get started - lets cover what push-notifications can do and why they are helpful to you and your team
What are push-notifications?
Push notifications are short pop-up messages sent to users via their browsers that contain useful information, news, or offers.
In Sequel's case, push-notifications allow you to receive periodic updates on newly released features, known or resolved bugs and outages, and/or messages that prompt action (e.g. update your plug-in) + more to assure you are always up to speed!

How do I opt-in to push-notifications?
By opting-in to push-notifications, you will receive these updates via your web browser. To opt-in, follow these steps:
-
Log-in to your Sequel Dashboard
-
Receive a prompt (see below) requesting permission to enable push-notifications.
-
Select Allow

That's it! You are in. Still having trouble receiving push-notifications? Check out these troubleshooting steps.
Not sure if they are right for you? No worries - you can opt-out at any time. To opt-out of push-notifications, follow the steps below:
-
Select the ellipses button on the top-right of your Chrome browser (see below)
-
Select Settings from the drop down menu
-
Select Privacy and Security> Site Settings> Notifications
-
Scroll down to https://push.getbeamer.com:443 and Remove or Block it

Once you complete those steps, you will no longer receive push-notifications from Sequel. If you would like to opt back into the notifications, please follow the steps 1-3 in 'How do I opt-in to push-notifications?'.
