Presenter Guide: Joining the Virtual Stage using an iPad recommends the use of a laptop or desktop computer when joining the Virtual Stage but there are times when an iPad may be the only option. Here are some steps for joining.


Follow these instructions to join the Virtual Stage using an iPad

  1. Locate your confirmation email in your inbox.
  2. Tap & hold the Join Event button.
  3. On the menu that appears, select Copy Link.
  4. Open the Chrome app on your device — be sure it does not default to the Safari App! If you do not have the Chrome App, you can download it from the App Store.
  5. In the navigation bar, paste the link. 


Even if you have Chrome on your device it will open any links in Safari by default. This is why you must copy and paste the link. If you see the message "Your browser is not compatible" (see below) than your iPad has opened the link in Safari.
