Using overlays in the Virtual Stage

Elevate the look and feel of your live event! Sequel offers the ability for Hosts to add graphic and text overlays seamlessly onstage!

Updated over a week ago

  1. Once within the Virtual Stage as a Host, select the Overlays tab within the offstage section at the bottom.

  2. Within the Overlays section, you have the option to upload a custom image or add a text overlay.

    1. Custom Image

      1. Select the +Upload Image button and select the image(s) you would like to use as a graphic overlay. Images should have an aspect ratio of 16:9.

      2. Once done, select the image you want to display and then select Show Overlay.*

    2. Text Overlay

      1. Enter your overlay title, subtitle, and background/text colors.

      2. Once done, select Show Overlay*.

  3. Once you would like to remove the overlay from the stage, select Hide Overlay.

One thing to keep in mind - once an overlay is published onstage, it will display over the layout of your Hosts and Speakers regardless if you are on grid or speaker mode!

Note: you can preview your graphic and text overlay within the Preview & Publish box in the right section of the Overlay tab prior to showing onstage.
