Pre-Live

Once you create a Virtual Stage, it is important to know how to manage it as a Host and what your audience experience will be! You can preview any Virtual Stage you have created by selecting the Preview button in your Sequel Admin Dashboard. From there, you can select the Profile icon on the right, and then select Logout to see the preview of your banner image and registration form.

Prior to an event going live, your attendees will see the following:

  • Banner Image - Before going live the Virtual Stage will show the banner image you have uploaded. You can change your Banner Image in your Admin Dashboard by clicking on the event and going to the "Details" tab.

  • Countdown - Below the banner image is your countdown. Your audience can also see the scheduled start date and time, and the name of the webinar, in the top left corner of the Virtual Stage.

  • Chat - All attendees, hosts, and presenters can engage in the Chat prior to the event going live. If you would like to disable this, you can do so as a Host in the Settings icon of the Virtual Stage or within your Sequel Admin Dashboard.

  • Q&A - All attendees, hosts, and presenters can engage in the Q&A prior to the event going live. If you would like to disable this, you can do so as a Host in the Settings icon of the Virtual Stage or within your Sequel Admin Dashboard. This is a great way to ask attendees to pre-submit their questions!

  • Polls - All attendees, hosts, and presenters can engage in Polls prior to the event going live. If you would like to disable this, you can do so as a Host in the Settings icon of the Virtual Stage or within your Sequel Admin Dashboard. This is a great way to gather information from attendees before an event, such as, what brought them to the event or what are they most interested to learn about.

During Live Session

Once your event is live, attendees can view the main stage, Chat, Q&A, and Polls. They will not have visibility to the Stage chat or the backstage of a live event.
