Before Going Live
Prior to going live on a Virtual Stage, Presenters and Hosts can meet privately in a 'green room' experience to discuss any last-minute logistics and reminders for the upcoming session. Hosts and Presenters can look out for the 'Not Live' badge (seen below) in the top-left corner of the Virtual Stage to indicate that they are in a not live state of the stage, and not currently broadcasting to the audience. To learn more about the different states of a Virtual Stage, check out this article.
During Live Event
Once an event is live, Hosts and Presenters can continue to chat privately using the 'Stage' chat tab (see below) via chat only.
Here are important things to note about the Stage chat:
If an Attendee is being promoted to a Presenter from the audience, they will have visibility to the Stage chat. Once a Presenter is demoted to an Attendee, they will lose their access to the Stage chat.
Presenters are unable to delete their messages sent in Stage and Event chat. If a Presenter sends a message to the Event chat that was intended for the Stage, a Host must delete the message on their behalf.
Pro-tip: If speaking verbally with a Presenter or fellow Host is important at any time during a live event, we suggest collecting phone numbers to make a quick phone call!
