Preview and Share my Sequel Event

Once you have created your first event, you can preview it with your event team before embedding!

Once you have created your first event, you can Preview it by selecting the purple preview button in the top right corner, or the eye icon within the event card. The event preview provides you and your team a space to view, interact, and go live on our Virtual Stage!


When previewing your event, you will be asked to update your media device settings since you are automatically listed as a Host of the event after creating it. To Preview your banner image, select the Profile tab on the right of your Chat+ and select Logout.


From here, you can see all the components you turned on in Themes like resources and settings for the event itself. This is how it'll look embedded for you as the host as well! What you see is what you embed.


From settings, you can turn on/off any options and it'll take effect in real-time!

Inviting Hosts and Team Members

Now that you have all the settings just right, time to share it with your team for a dry-run so they're ready for the real thing.

  1. Exit the preview tab (would have opened on a new tab).

  2. Navigate to "Participants" tab within Event Settings

  3. Add hosts, presents, and even participant lists.

Sequel.io will send emails to those that you shared the event with inviting them to the selected access

When ready, you then can quickly access and copy the embed code to paste into the website from the Embed tab of your event in your dashboard! To find the exact element for your web builder, check out our collection of articles here.
