On a Virtual Stage, Hosts and Presenters can chat discreetly amongst one another in the 'On Stage' tab of the Chat+ which attendees cannot see
Before Going Live
Prior to going live on a Virtual Stage, Presenters and Hosts can meet privately in the Greenroom to discuss any last-minute logistics and reminders for the upcoming session. Hosts and Presenters can look out for the 'Not Live' badge (seen below) in the top left corner of the Virtual Stage to indicate that they are in the Greenroom state of the stage, and not currently live and broadcasting to the audience.
During Live Event
Once an event is live, Hosts and Presenters can continue to chat privately using the 'On Stage' chat tab (see below) via chat only.
Here are important things to note about the On Stage chat:
If an Attendee is being promoted to a Presenter from the audience, they will have visibility to the On Stage chat. Once a Presenter is demoted to an Attendee, they will lose their access to the On Stage chat.
Presenters are unable to delete their messages sent in On Stage and Event chat. If a Presenter sends a message to the Event chat that was intended for On Stage, a Host must delete the message on their behalf.
Pro-tip: If speaking verbally with a Presenter or fellow Host is important at any time during a live event, we suggest collecting phone numbers in order to make a quick phone call!
