Presenters love using Sequel.io because of its clean and intuitive interface, but presenting live in front of an audience can be stressful. These resources will help eliminate questions Presenters may have about joining the event, presenting their content, and engaging with the audience.
Presenter Invitation
When you add a Presenter to an event, they will receive the Presenter Invitation email. The default copy of this email will contain the event name, instructions for joining the Virtual Stage, and a calendar invite.
Customize this and other emails in the Emails tab. More info here.
If you decide to edit the Presenter Invitation email, here are some things that are helpful to include:
Event Name
Instruction for Joining the Stage
Sequel.io Presenter Guides (included below)
Joining the Virtual Stage
Presenters join the Virtual Stage, Hosts, and Attendees by clicking the Join button in their confirmation email or calendar event. We've also created guides you can send to Presenters to help them understand the basics of Sequel.io even more quickly.
Presenter Guide: Joining the Virtual Stage is a step-by-step guide with screenshots and links to additional Help Center resources.
Sequel Academy: Join the Virtual Stage is a short video covering the basics of joining the Virtual Stage and setting up devices.
Sharing Content on the Virtual Stage
Presenters can share content using Sequel.io's native slide sharing, video playback, or sharing their screen for live demonstrations. Using one or more of these tools adds dimension and engagement to a presentation.
Sequel Academy: Sharing Your Content is a short video that shows Presenters how to upload and share their slides and screens.
Engaging with the Audience
Sequel.io has live chat, reactions, Q&A, and polls that enable Presenters to engage with the audience during the event. These tools create an engaging experience for attendees while being easy to use for Presenters.
Sequel Academy: Engaging with the Audience is a short video that shows Presenters how to use the Chat+ tools to engage with the audience during the event.
Using the Chat+ features with attendees walks through the Chat+ features in detail.
