Preserve movements and animated engagement in your slide deck with Sequel's PowerPoint integration.
The same convenience of media sharing, now with pptx formats. To use this capability, your account must be on an Enterprise subscription.
Downloading Slides
The PPT file you're downloading, you may not have the fonts embedded, which is a requirement for the fonts to be displayed properly.
β
βTo download your slide deck as needed,
1. Open the presentation
2. Go to PowerPoint menu β Preferences
3. Click Save (under Output and Sharing)
4. Check "Embed fonts in the file"
5. Save the file and download for usage within Media hub of event.
Uploading Slides
Slides can be uploaded from:
Media tab in Sequel backstage
Media tab in Sequel event settings
Media hub, then associated to an event
The how is a click of a button but if you'd like, a deep dive on Media Hub and how to upload can be found here.
After upload, the file will take some time to process.
β
Please allow ample time to upload and play through the deck to ensure all animations play as expected. Some animations may not supported.
Note: Animations within your deck will run through automatically (not "on click"). This is standard across platforms and if you need animations more broken out, you can adjust slides accordingly!
Examples of animations not currently supported:
Appear/Dissapear
Grow and Turn
Grow and Shrink
Morph
Reveal

Fonts in your deck don't look right?
β
Resolution #1: The PPT file does not have the fonts embedded, which is a requirement for the fonts to be displayed properly.
1. Open the presentation
2. Go to PowerPoint menu β Preferences
3. Click Save (under Output and Sharing)
4. Check "Embed fonts in the file"
5. Save the file again and download for usage within Media hub of event.
β
βResolution #2: Exports from web version of PowerPoint or other applications can change the look of text font within slides.
This is only an issue in web version and downloading or exporting from the Desktop PowerPoint application will preserve presentation fonts.
