Sharing PowerPoint Slides with Animations and Speaker Notes

How to use .pptx files in Sequel events to preserve content design and assist speakers with presentation.

Updated over a week ago

Preserve movements and animated engagement in your slide deck with Sequel's PowerPoint integration.

The same convenience of media sharing, now with pptx formats. To use this capability, your account must be on an Enterprise subscription.

Uploading Slides

Slides can be uploaded from:

  1. Media tab in Sequel backstage

  2. Media tab in Sequel event settings

  3. Media hub, then associated to an event

The how is a click of a button but if you'd like, a deep dive on Media Hub and how to upload can be found here.

After upload, the file will take some time to process.

Please allow ample time to upload and play through the deck to ensure all animations play as expected. Some animations may not supported.

Examples of animations not currently supported:

  1. Appear/Dissapear

  2. Grow and Turn

  3. Grow and Shrink

  4. Morph

  5. Reveal

Viewing Speaker Notes on Stage

Speakers can keep focus and content in one central place with PPT integration.

  1. Add notes as you're building slides, with consideration for vertical view pane.

  2. Upload slides to Media

  3. Toggle "show on stage" when ready

  4. See your notes next to the stage, to the left of engagement options.

πŸ’‘ Add an extra touch of engagement by showing an overlay on top of your slides. Tickers, CTAs, etc. can boost audience clarity and takeaways.

Fonts in your deck don't look right?

Exports from web version of PowerPoint or other applications can change the look of text font within slides.

This is only an issue in web version and downloading or exporting from the Desktop PowerPoint application will preserve presentation fonts.
