Why am I having trouble joining a Virtual Stage or Networking Hub Circle?

If you are receiving error notifications when trying to enter a Virtual Stage or a Circle within a Networking Hub - the next step is to diagnose the issue and troubleshoot.

Some common factors that may result in someone having trouble entering the Sequel components are the following:

  • VPN restrictions

  • Firewall restrictions

  • Networking restrictions (common with school or corporate networks)

The above may block a user from entering the Sequel components and will need to complete one or more of the following steps:

  • Disable any existing VPN or firewall on device

  • Join mobile hotspot network

  • Use generic laptop or mobile device

We highly recommend all Hosts and Presenters of a Virtual Stage to complete our compatibility checker prior to going live. This checker will complete a call test and catch any blockers (such as above) that may cause issues in the live experience.
