Upload Registrations to your Event

If you are collecting registrations through a separate form, you can easily upload each registrant to your Virtual Stage!

When using a third-party form to collect registrations, you will need to pass over your registration information to your Virtual Stage! To begin, the best course of action is to use one of our native integrations or Zapier to complete this for you automatically. That way your users can get their confirmation email instantly and you can reduce your manual workload! Even with one of our automated solutions, there may be times when uploading registrations into your event is necessary! To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Sequel Admin Dashboard and select the event that you want to upload registrations to

  2. Select the Participants tab

  3. Select the +Add participant's button

  4. A pop-up will appear prompting you to upload a CSV file of your registrants. Drag and drop or select the file selector to choose your CSV file.

  5. Select Start bulk registration

In order to successfully upload your registrants, be sure that your CSV file has the required columns of First name, Last name, and Email. If we cannot detect each column, the registration upload will fail.

Be sure that your column names are exactly listed as First name, Last name, and Email and not any other variation such as First, Last, or Email Address! If the column names are not exact, the registration will fail.

Once registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation message within the pop-up that states how many total entries were found and how many registrations were sent!

If you receive an error on any of your registrations, the pop-up will display the total number of registrations sent and the total number of registrations failed.

Registration entries will fail due to the user already being registered (duplicate email) as well as invalid email address. An invalid email will be any email that is not complete with ''.
