Event Series Workflow
First, you'll now see the event area in your Sequel dashboard reflect two different areas: Event Series and Events
When you build an Event Series, you're building an event with multiple sessions, each with its own settings if you need it. Like a virtual conference, for example.
An Event Series event houses settings for all sessions within it. These sessions can be a mix of simulive, live, on-demand, etc. Other than the change in terminology, once you enter into each session, everything will work the same as the events you're used to building out in Sequel.io.
Event Series Sessions can be made public when ready and kept private until then.
On the audience side, the main difference is the additional option within the registration form to select sessions.

If the registrant chooses all sessions, they'll be prompted with invites to new sessions added in the future!
Creating and Editing Sessions
Sessions are the events within an Event Series.
To start, select "+ New Event" within your admin dashboard Events area and select the "Event Series" option.
Fill in the details of event series program. Pay attention the purple information boxes throughout the interface. You'll see one to review your Event Series settings (settings that apply across all sessions within).
Of course, you can always customize each Session's settings to be unique as well. Configuring settings to capture at least 80% of your use cases is recommended.
Now that you've created the top-level event to house all your sessions, it's time to create your sessions. Select "+ Add New Session" to start building out your sessions.
These options work the same as with all events within Sequel.io.
If you're new to our community, review How to Create and Manage Events.
On your main Event Series page, you'll now see all your sessions, future and past, as well as recurrence settings for recurring sessions within your Event Series.
β
This view now has all your sessions, their type, embed status, visibility, and options.
From here, you can click the gear icon to access settings for each session and make sure it's set to impress.
To setup your stage, embed and CRM settings, click into the gear icon for the applicable session and you'll be taken to a familiar event setup view.
Once you're done, set the event visibility to "Public" so your registrants can
Recurring sessions
Recurring sessions are recurring events housed within a series. Their settings can be edited in the "Recurrence Settings" tab with an added option to stop the recurrence (and restart it later if you'd like) or delete completely.
β
To stop creating more sessions, click on the red stop icon.
This will switch to a delete icon now since the recurrence has been stopped.
